THANK YOU, Los Angeles (& beyond)! We ❤ you!
We’re at least week late in following up the De Todos Lados benefit concert with this message of collective gratitude, but we wanted to say it accompanied by a record of the magical vibes that we created together with you all. So without further ado, it is with special thanks, love and admiration to the event’s official photographer, Eric Parsons Photography, that we’re announcing “The pictures are ready!”
As a music/arts production crew, La Junta aims to gather as many positive, beautiful people as possible at each event, to create an uplifting joy that spreads into our communities. The opportunity to help produce De Todos Lados was another big step for us in this mission. We’re so grateful to the amazing team at Al Otro Lado for trusting us with this fundraising project, which at its core is a stand against both the dismantling of democracy and the erosion of human decency. They will continue to have our full support. With that said, we’re incredibly proud to say that together we raised about $24K for the cause, with that amount coming from ticket sales, bar sales and modest donations from within our community! Wow!!
There were many moving parts to the event and thus many caring individuals, organizations and companies who lifted the event to a level we did not imagine. We’re going to give it a shot:
