“Territory of Human Heart” that is opening at this year’s De Todos Lados concert. It is an exhibition that combines established and emerging artists with a shared history of migration, rage, imagined borders, and displacement of peoples. Through this exhibit, we bring together artists who embody work towards vulnerability, towards freedom, and towards our heart. What imagined lines live at the edges and borders of our heart? This exhibit asks us to know our heart, to know our collective story of displacement, and to know our future together.

Hello, Familia ~
(Glenn, David, Yuki & Prescilla)
Though we probably need a few more days to recover from the amazing madness of this past weekend’s La Junta special event featuring Novalima and Chacombo, we wanted to remind you that we’ll be returning to our regularly scheduled programming on SUNDAY AUGUST 26!!
For this second to last getdown of the summer, we’ll be featuring one of Sao Paulo’s longtime favorite deejay/producers flying into LA for his first ever visit, plus two well-loved local bands who’ll float seamlessly across northeast Brazil’s beautiful but lesser known forró music to the funky and soulful samba styles made popular by celebrated artists such as Jorge Ben and Tim Maia:
